I can understand why but CHI are going to have a cap problem really soon (Nylander and Hagel to resign this year, next year flat cap, Kubalik and Strome new contract for 2022-2023 and Jones extension).

I think it could be interesting for them to move either Kubalik or Strome this year for a cheaper winger + prospects and picks. My offer might not be enough tho.

Chicago is only interested in acquiring bros, so unless we can also get Lïc then no deal.

Anaheim isn't gonna retain that much for that long unless their getting a hefty return. That's paying Drouin 8.4M fir 2 years and then paying 2.9M in the 3rd season for nothing. Much cheaper to buyout if cap space is needed.

Totally agree with you, I went wild with the retention 1,3 to 1,8 would be a bit more realistic. Anaheim would be a perfect fit for Drouin. He could relaunch his career as the 2nd LW behind Comtois.

im not gonna lie i really wanted to say something constructive. But like its a bunch of 3rd or 4th line players going to miny, and in return you get a good player and Picks. it would never happen.
The anaheim trade literally that trade only happens with no retention at all, drouins contract is very expensive so to retain any amount for a 3rd is just not gonna happen a 3rd and a 5th might get ya 1 mil, a second and a 6th probably gets you 1.5mil but just a third, the market on drouin is at an all time low. HEs had 2 really bad seasons in a row, where both he and henriques numbers have been close, I personnally know hes better, but a 3rd doesnt get the retention you want not even close

And then Dominik Kubalik has already shown he can perform huge in the nhl with a 30 goal season and on pace for almost 65 points in 2 seasons hes just not available for trade, especially not for lehkonen and Who?

The trades are shockingly bad the only one that would even happen even closly is the ducks one, but even that only with either a higher pick, or just more.
