    If the Sharks want Eichel they'd be making a serious push to be relevant again, so it's probably not the best idea to trade a top 6 winger for him, it would probably have to be a prospect/pick only package. They would obviously ask for Eklund, but maybe they could settle on 2 or 3 of Merkley, Wiesblatt, Robins and Bordeleau (or all of them), a cap dump like Simek, and a couple of high picks.

    If I’m San Jose, I trade anybody but Eklund and/or Ferraro. Everyone else, fair game.

    Take out Bordeleau and replace Kniazev with Pasichnuk and after that SJ accepts with a condition on that 1st that's based on how many games Eichel plays with San Jose in his 1st season. If he sits out more than half the games, take out the 1st.
