Engvall is the "Toronto Legend"? What is the replacement? I am confused about this big announcement.

The only legend that I have ever seen in Toronto over the last 5 decades is Martin Marincin. That row of statues of Leaf players outside the arena should be replaced with Marincin ones in various poses in my opinion.

Martin, we will miss you! Welcome Gustafson! All I can say is heavy is the crown…

Funny how you think think Ho Sang or even Malgin are NHLers. Engvall and Mikheyev are infinitely better.

Wait for it. Ho-SANG has definitely more potential then both players. 50:50 chance that he could have a breakout season if he will have a good training camp.

If Ho Sang hadn't been a former first rounder no one would even think about his NHL potential. He became the Isles "Bracco". I'd be surprised if he plays more NHL games than me for the rest of his career.

You wont be laughing when Tavares gets injured. Engvall wins the Conn Smythe and then he is traded for Multiple firsts.

That would have been a great scenario past season. Wait... Tavares GOT injured... And ENGVALL... didn't get the slot, didn't produce more than 1 A in 6 G and is terrible in Face-off percentage with his close to 42% average and he is a LW first of all. So what is this all about? I like Engvall and think he has more potential - but not with this leafs team. Promote him in Buffalo or Arizona to a top six guy. And I wasn't laughing - just wondering about that clickbaiting "Replacing a Toronto Legend" section.

If you ignore his play and his numbers from OHL and AHL you can forget to think about him. And of course it is about the first round as well. Thats the meaning of drafting. He will get his last chance. Like TOR gave Galch another opportunity. Maybe he won't play again. But I hope he will surprise you. He is a guy who wants to play hockey at the best level. Sometimes people forget about the human beings behind the players seems to me. It would be great for him and the Team too. And he is no TDA which never should play any NHL game again due to his bad behavior.
