Ducks decline.

This just doesn't make any sense for the Ducks. Add Caufield and the Ducks accept. Lindholm with an extension alone is worth more than that. You'd definitely not get Comtois as well. He would only be moved for someone like Eichel.

Ducks would like the trade much better if cap drag Drouin wasn't included. Ducks still want to a team with potential so Comtois stays. Kesler is meaningless in a trade.
Now I could see Ducks trading upcoming UFA Lindholm.

So our best winger ( now and in the future ) and our best defenseman for a cap dump, Romanov, a 4th liner and some picks?

I would assume Ducks decline this very fast. Doubt they’d even do this for Comtois alone
