Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
The Devil's trade is pretty straight forward.
The Chicago trade is strictly based of them not contending in the central this year, although I'm not sure it will be the case.

I'd be surprised if the hawks are selling this deadline, they're one of the most improved teams in the league after the Kings.

I certainly hope that Leafs don't trade futures for marginally short term help.

I would tend to agree, I just targeted a team that had an expiring player and ltir contract

I'm sorry what do contending teams usually do at the deadline

The Central division doesn't look that strong. Looks like a whole lotta teams can be for playoff spots. You're right, Hawks should be improved. (though I didn't particularly like the Jones trade long term)

Murphy seems to be in the hawks plans for the future. Trading you shaw for LTIR room is definitely in the books though, if youre willing to pay for it.

I don't like the assets they gave up for Jones, I thought it was completely too much for a player that had 2-3 places he'd sign an extension in.

Unless Zacha has some next level break out season there is no way I'm trading Amirov for him if I'm Dubas.

Your also $4 million over the cap, so the Leafs simply can't afford to make that Chicago trade

Lord please make this Zacha trade happen, we'll even retain max amount to make it work.

I was probably generous on the return because I usually get heavy annoying backlash from jersey fans, actual value I would put on him is probably hirvonen a 2nd and 5th

I could see a trade happen where the value is somewhere in between those Amirov and Hirvonen proposals. But yeah, I seem to rate Zacha a fair bit lower than other Devils fans on Capfriendly.

Try that Blackhawks trade again that is easily getting denied

I'd honestly love to see them do better than that, I mean sure the pick to Toronto could be downgraded or dropped

No there’s no possible way right now to entice us into trading him to you for a 7th defensemen and a late first

That's why I specifically stated it's only if Chicago is out of contention at the deadline.

Do you read descriptions or just get straight to being a Karen

We are trying to contend again I don’t know why but we are

So I wouldn’t call our “rebuild” a rebuild but more a retool

Well I can’t name a team who’s will be a wild card team in the pacific and Dallas is looking like their trying to get older with Ryan a Suter and Braden Holbty

FYI, ya don’t want Zacha as a center. Dude can’t win a draw, sucks defensively, and is a much better player on the wing. Kerfoot is better in the middle

That's good insight, I'll definitely take that into consideration on the next one
