chara is washed and Biega is an AHL defender all to get a mediocre 3rd liner. This is a much worse team

i know, theres no need to for leafs and hawks dont want to pay extra for that. we can afford his contract and will want to keep our first if we can

Leafs are in a win mode, I can't see them trading Reilly. Now I don't see the Leafs resigning Reilly either. Some team will overpay for him.

You know where Rielly actually makes sense if an extension isnt worked out. Seattle. They got Gio, Soucy, and Oleksiak yes but Gio is probs retiring after this season. Dunn also isn't a top 4 guy yet per the eye test. So Rielly could make sense and they got the space to extend him
