Strome

Description
Vegas need help down the middle, They're also in a win now stage and with Tuch being out for the 1st part of the season they trade him for Strome. Strome could have a bounce back season being moved into the top 6 playing along side good players. The reason Strome has been struggling is that he is not meant to be a 3rd line player and he's struggled through injuries and once he recovered he was put back into the a same role with meh players. Now since Vegas acquired Dadonov he could replace Tuch on the 3rd line.

I don’t think Vegas would do that. They need a centre capable of playing on the 1st line with patches and stone, not another middle six centre, they’ve got like 4 of those already
GoodIdeaAtTheTime and exo2769 liked this.

The problem is, those pieces aren't attainable via trade. They've had scoring issues which is something Strome can help at. Strome is a good really good passer and played well down low on the PP in the 1 3 1. At 17.82% really isn't cutting it and you need to be able to score in different ways when the 5v5 isn't working like against MIN.

Now, Tuch...he's not going anywhere in my opinion. A.) He's hurt B.) Good contract C.) Good player. BUT some kind of pick/prospect trade could work with Shaw going to Vegas too. That makes Strome/Shaw Cap POSITIVE due to LTIR bucket vs $3M against it.

I think we’re overpaying for Tuch slightly but ok
