Bruins aren't a fit for the Sabres to work with - limited cap space and no way Sweeney moves the type of assets the sabres want as their asking price around the league and to many sources is stupid high for a guy who cant play yet. The Sabres need Eichel to get his surgery and get playing again so he can show everyone he is fine and boost his value and stock to match his talent level.

I disagree with the idea of Eichel not moving. He's been in Buffalo for the longest time wasting his talent and multiple teams could use him, including Boston, plus he would love to play for his home team with Grzelcyk, but I agree that Bostons assets and nhl players needed for a trade would not work. as long as Sweeney waits for an opening if Buffalo asks for less because nothing is working, then they could have less cap issues and strike him. Of course it won't be easy but you never know. Eichel and Pasta would be a great first liner matchup when Marchy and Berger retire because they're both young and elite

I agree he would look good it Black and Gold - just saying the Bruins dont have the capital to make the trade without emptying an already light piggy bank. Not mention, Eichels health concerns and the contract - when it all adds up, it looks like he lands elsewhere. If the Sabres are unwilling to budge on their asking price they need allow him to fix his neck and get back on the ice so teams dont have to worry about his health issues and can focus on the player and his cap.
