Just to break it down trade by trade .

Reilly and Ekholm both have 1 year remaining on their respective contracts. I think there’s an upside on taking a much younger Reilly, and offering him an extension, even if he his slightly more expensive . It seems like Nashville is in the middle of some sort of rebuild here with shipping out arvidsson and Ryan Ellis so it seems fitting.
Ideally for Toronto I want somebody on each pairing that has a booming slap shot . I think getting more ****s to the net is a priority especially from the point. Ekholm Muzzin And Sandin can all be a threat. Also having a guy like Ekholm giving some tips and pointers to a guy like Sandin would be huge. Not to mention there both Swedish.

Rodion is going to me an elite top 6 forward in the years to come . Arizona is also in the Midst of a rebuild so I think it’s much fitting to include him in a package with mikheyev who can make an immediate impact. If you guys still feel like it’s not enough throw in a pick.

Kerfoot an lil as self explanatory . Pitsburg could do with a guy like kerfoot and adding in a right handed defensive prospect t in lili is the icing . More or less a cap dump for a future.

So you trade a recent 1st round pick, a 2nd round pick and Mikheyev for a 4c and find that worthwhile?

He’s not really a 4 c brother . I just slotted him there. Dvorak could really be anywhere . 1st or second line wing. Or center depth . IMO I like this set up tho . And if I take away the second pick are you Cool?

There's a ton here, but one thing that stands out- one of the things Toronto has done well with (and coming off two ultimately bad playoff performances, can't say it's exactly a long list) is not shoehorn in point shots. Offensively they play through the middle of the ice and don't just blast shots from the points. Having someone on each pair that definitely has a slap shot is not important to them. Rightfully so. They care about them defending and being able to move the puck.

Minimum roster size is actually 20 players. Maximum is 23.

What am I suppose to do to make this work ?

Not have a twenty man roster. You should at least have 2 healthy scratches…
