Domi might be a guy we could get but I doubt we trade much as far as positive asset for him. I know the Columbus GM would want to save face with the acquisition but I wouldnt give up a 2nd and 3rd to get Domi.

He really struggled, unsurprisingly, in Columbus. He takes a ton on penalties, isnt overly physical and hasnt been a reliable scorer. If Columbus wanted to give him away then I would accept a 1 year reclamation project Domi. Other than that, I avoid him.

Throw Gardiner into that trade and it’s a bit closer. Domi probably misses half the season recovering from surgery and who knows what he looks like coming back in a new environment and system. Don’t think he’s worth a ton in a trade given his situation and past but would be willing to throw a flyer at him if it clears Gardiner too
