I like the players going back and forth in the trade but the picks in the deal seem unnecessary. There is also not a chance the bottom 6 would look like that, Kerfoot is at least 3rd line, Spezza is a lock to play 4th.

LA has no interest in a Rielly rental, and with recent signings/acquisitions, cannot afford to extend him. I wouldn't give up Vilardi for Rielly, even if they could.

Yeah lines look great... except there is no way that a builder team is going to give up futures and young talent for a 1 yr rental just to help out the TMLs.
