Brooks Anderson Menell will all require waivers

Description
Whenever I make a roster I get to Simmonds and I’m like ‘where the f should he go.’ I don’t want him in the top 6, definitely not on the 3rd line, I’d be ok with the 4th line I guess but I’d rather give that spot to Anderson or even Engvall. I really don’t like that the Leafs signed him so early. Wish they waited cause that 900,000 could have been real useful.

Also Brooks, Anderson, and Menell will all have to pass through waivers if they are to play with the Marlies. I could definitely see 1 if not 2 of they them getting claimed.
But out of the 3, I would rather see them send down Engvall and Brooks, if 1 or both get claimed they have Robertson and Semyonov who are both waiver exempt they can call up and down.

This is a roster setup I like best.

Ho-Sang and Malgin would also need to clear but I feel like both would.

I think if done early brooks and Anderson pass. Iirc menell is 2 way?

dermot is not worth that , liljigren should not be in the top 4 , i agree to put marner with tavares insthead of mattews

Menell’s contract is two way, he would still need to pass through waivers.

Brooks I’d be fine losing, they have some options at C, absolutely Anderson gets claimed. Young FWD, still signed for another two years at a cheap cap hit. They’d would trade him first before attempting to send him through waivers

That Islanders pick would be a very late 2nd, yes. Dermott has that value.

Liljegren would not be in the top 4 every game, Holl/Muzzin would take the tougher match ups. But yes, Liljegren will be paired with Muzzin some nights.

Agreed, Matthews Nylander, JT Marner needs to go back

its a pick from arizona......so its gonna be an early second rp
and the islanders dosen't need dermot at all

Ummm do you know how traded picks work?

The team that trade said pick, the team acquiring pick has to choose from where they finished

I wouldn't worry too much about waivers just before Opening Night.

Every fan base worries about it, but the thing is, every team is looking to pare down their roster, not add. That's me speaking in general, there are a few teams like BUF or ARI that might claim an NHL body this fall, but I wouldn't worry too much about it

If they send them through wiavers early they could sneak through. I like brooks and want to keep him.

I just don’t want to lose Anderson or Menell for nothing.
