While I admire your creativity, they don't have enough 1st's for one of those trades much less both. Decent returns just not enough.

I agree this doesn't get Connor. But with the Bertuzzi trades it wasn't so much the low ball offers it was more that there were 5 to 10 of them a day.

Jets would ask for seider, zadina, or Vrana for Connor. While it may not be worth it from your end that’s probably how much it would cost

These trades aren't even good for Detroit. Giving up 8 assets to get 2 isn't a good strategy for a rebuilding team.
