Ranger fans…..
you’ve really gotta stop with this nonsense

If the Sabres were willing to accept something like this,
Eichel would’ve been moved already

But these packages full of ONLY “secondary” pieces just aren’t gonna cut it
It’s just not close

I think we all need to accept that he's not going anywhere right now. He's got to get on the ice and prove he's healthy to get a team to offer the price Buffslo wants, and I don't think Adsms will accept a lesser deal.

Kravtsov immediately gets on the next flight to Russia and never suits up for the Sabres.

This is true...but to get on the ice he needs surgery to his neck. Unless BUF has a change of heart in terms of letting him get the procedure he wants- this is the crux of the matter. The physical therapy did not fix the issue...so it's artificial disk surgery- which Eichel wants, and he'll possibly be on the ice 6-8 weeks...or neck fusion- the traditional method to fix this problem- maybe he'd be back on the ice 6-8 months. So it's a matter of who blinks first....if BUF doesn't look to cut their losses and pass the situation on to another team- which for obvious reasons would require a steep discount.

This is an overpayment by far with eichels current situation. NYR isnt offering this and never will. Their current offer is geo krav 1st and jones. Buffalo fans need to be realistic when it comes to eichels return with his injuries and already stating he wants out. They are dealing from a position of weakness. As a NYR fan i don't want eichel anymore with the tag they want and the cap issues he will make for the team. Dvorak is a much better option and possibly monahan.

This would be a massive overpayment by the Rangers. This is the equivalent of 4 1sts and 2 2nds for a guy with a 10m salary who is injured. If Buffalo was retaining money, maybe, but this is too much.

Buf will end up accepting something much less than this.

Kravtsov isn’t even good in the KHL either.

Lol. I feel like I cant count on Krav to come to the Sabres and if he doesnt I dont have a good feel for how good of a player he is. I like Schneider, he's a fine piece. Chytil to me is a 3rd line, maybe middle 6 player at best which I'm not really interested in. Looking more for high end pieces for Jack.

okay sounds good. Legit was only looking for your opinion, not trying to be a dick lol. But yah I agree with Krav. Chytil can be something, but i honestly think he is soft and won't develop the correct way or into the player that they thought he could be.

Wow. Most top 10 picks are in the NHL when they are 20! His first 20 games in the NHL were really bad.

so you are going to basically write this kid off for the 20 games he played in a COVID season. The kid can score goals and that 2018 draft was deep in the first round, but there are still some players that are just beginning their career (I.e. Noah Dobson (1 year), Kotkaniemi (2 years), Farabee (1 year), etc). The only guys that have played since they were drafted I believe are Svechnikov and Dahlin...

What garbage? top prospects in the nhl? m8 are you high? Just because you're upset at the tire fire that buffalo is doesn't mean you cannot see value in other good players chillax and broaden your view on other teams.

Garbage is too strong of a word,
but these aren’t top notch assets…. They’re “secondary”
And it’s gonna take more than that to get Eichel
Otherwise the trade would already be done

They are top prospects. What buffalo claim kakko and laf are elite players in the making as top prospects. NYR has amazing assets doesn't mean they aren't top prospects to other teams and are primary but for NYR they are secondary due to the abundance.

Disagree
Top prospects are guys like Lafreniere, (maybe) Kakko, Zegras, Boldy, Byfield, Turcotte, etc
The guys mentioned in this trade proposal are a notch down from the ones i just mentioned

If those types of prospects (you’re talking about) were acceptable to Buffalo,
then Eichel would’ve been traded by now

Buffalo is proving they aren’t gonna “sell low” though
Time for ppl to accept they aren’t getting Eichel at bargain pricing

And if that means we have to keep one of the top10 players in the league….
Then I’m more than ok with that!
