I don't think we see Nuge at 2C any time soon. Tippett had McLeod at 2C in the playoffs when he loaded up the top line - while Nuge played 2LW.

Adding Hyman allows for lots of possible line changes. I really like that second line shouldn’t have much trouble shutting down other top lines and be very positive on possession time.

Yeah the flexibility is amazing.

- Hyman plays both wings (53% LW / 0% C / 47% RW last year)
- Foegele plays both wings (23% / 0 / 77%)
- Nugent-Hopkins plays C or L (71% / 29% / 0)
- Draisaitl plays all three forward positions (35% / 65% / 0)
- Archibald plays both wings (39% / 0 / 61%)
- Holloway plays center primarily but can play LW too

Maybe there's too much flexibility, I'd like to see Holland find some lines that work in the first 20 games and then leave them to gel for the next 60+. There's way too much roster movement to build chemistry under Tippett IMO.

i think Hyman is pretty well stapled to Mcdavid on one of his wings. I think to start it is Hyman-Mcdavid-Puljujarvi and DRY Line. Only big shake up I can see happening is if Yamamoto and Nuge can't finish the draisaitl passes again this year, which would force them to probably bring up Foegele and try some thing like Foegele-Mcdavid-Hyman, Nuge-Draisaitl-Puljujarvi.
