Yeah the package isn't there, and the kicker is the retention. If you don't want to send multiple 1st round picks, a package would need to start with either Sharangovich or Ty Smith, a 1st, Nolan or Foote, and another piece. Which I personally wouldn't do because I think Sharangovich is gonna be a 30 goal scorer as soon as this season. Calling it now.

Agree. sharengovic will be a massive bloomer this year IMO. He's the starter in this trade.

You've got a guy who was the 27th pick a few years ago and hasn't made the league, a guy drafted 2 rounds early, a 1st in 2 years(when you might actually be good) and a 2nd.

If you want a Jack -> NJD trade, it's centered around Hischer(since both Hughes are probably untouchable) and 2022 1st. You can say that sounds ludachris, but Jack is one of the top Cs in the league and he's 24. Its not often this guy becomes available.

Without knowing the exactly post-op status of Eichel's back, I wouldn't trade the necessary value for him. Too big a risk.

Also, Sharangovich and Kuokkanen are both really underpaid here.
