Let’s downgrade both picks. Make the second a third and 5th and the third from winni a fourth.
Other than that I really like the swap.

That’s just bad for wpg no? Unless Domi agrees to a team friendly extension it’s awful for wpg as he can just walk as a free agent.

Except Copp is currently an RFA and can be extended long term, yes Domi can be as well but it’s highly unlikely for a pending UFA to extend. Which is why I said unless Domi comes with a team friendly deal, it doesn’t make sense. CBJ wouldn’t be trading for Copp if they thought he didn’t want to stay, Copp likely just wants to be in an American market, and CBJ is perfect for him considering he’ll play C in the top 6 likely.

If Copp goes to arbitration, it's a one year deal...that's kinda what I meant

What only $36,667 dollar raise for Stanley, this is really cheap. Don't want Domi in Winnipeg. He's inconsistent and not a hard worker and only works when he
has lots of other people's money in his pocket. Trade copp to Seattle for Calle jarnkrok is a trade I like alot.
