This is probably fair but remove the retention on Henrique

This is pretty realistic honestly. Only way I see Anaheim moving the first is in this scenario, top 5 protected or so.

I can't see Buffalo agreeing to forfeit the 1st round pick if Eichel is not healthy. One of the reasons that they're in this fiasco in the first place is because they're concerned that the artificial disc replacement will cause major issues that will prevent him from playing again. If they trade him, he undergoes the procedure, and then for some reason isn't able to return, then they were right all along. They're going to want the pick either way.

I don't see Buffalo accepting those conditions.

I see what you are looking to accomplish with the Oiler trade, but I think the window of opportunity to acquire bad contracts from Edmonton has closed for the most part. There should be enough available now to get their RFAs under contract and there really isn't much else available for them to spend that extra cap space on.

They might be open to moving Stalock and Turris for a lesser return. Doing that would clear enough cap space to fit in a player like Koekkoek and still have enough room to make in-season roster moves if necessary. That would more than halve the cap hit heading to Buffalo, but the Sabres would still acquire the backup goaltender, if Stalock is healthy, and give them a bottom six C/RW. A middling LH forward prospect would probably be a reasonable return for the Oilers, it would help them build the roster in either Bakersfield or Wichita.
