Top of the Atlantic and you want to sell? Seems unlikely

Yeah they aren't selling, but could this offseason if they flop. As far as the Jackets trade, I would not deal Dubois, but to think about Weber on that defense...wow!

The idea does seem insane, until you take a deeper look. 16-1-1 start hides the fact Habs are the 6th worst team in the league since late November. Their slump started off slow, but for the past month its pathetic. Now add to that they did this exact thing last year, and this time their excuse "Price was injured" isn't injured. Well, seems like this core is done, and needs to be split up. Give it another week or so, this team will be fighting for 8th, not 1st. BUT, that's past the TDL and already too late to make Radulov and Markov trades (not to mention the unlikely Plek, DD trades I didn't even bother pretending we could get an asset for). As for the rest, yeah, they could be done in the summer.

Generally Ottawa avoids Russians, but that was under Murray, not sure about Dorion - If Radulov agreed to a multi-year extension as part of the trade, I could see them paying a first for him

a 1st is normally a must for top rentals. You aren't going to find a better winger rental than Radulov. So a 1st and 5th is pretty low cost considering. But I mean, there are many teams that would be willing to pay, doesn't have to be Sens.

We have Lindgren and McNiven as goalie prospects. We can always draft one. Trouba is a top 4 defenseman easily. 1st round pick could be a center, which could be a 1st line center... I think your asking is pretty close to what I mentioned, but I am open to hearing what you would prefer and we can discuss.
