Necas is untouchable. There is absolutely zero reason for the Canes to trade him

Now I could see the canes having interest in fiala, but the package would have to be more picks and prospects based

MIN doesn’t have to add because Necas isn’t being moved. Keep dreaming bud.

Can’t see a Necas deal really bring a thing, especially for MIN. Necas would require a really good player back and while guys like Fiala or Kaprizov are good candidates, Fiala isn’t the same level of player and Kaprizov’s contract situation doesn’t seem like something Canes would want to deal with even tho he’s an unreal talent.

I honestly can’t think of any players that realistically would make sense for Canes in a Necas trade league wide. Obviously there are much better players than him but his ultra high ceiling, team control and likely reasonable cap hit makes him perfect for Canes

I’d still say no. Value is probably close but I just don’t see how that makes them better during their cup window. Probably makes the window longer but less likely to hit inside of it.

Boy, you're going to have to do a really incredible job explaining why the **** we would add Rossi on to Fiala to get Necas.

Fiala for futures would be something Canes take a hard look at tho. Not sure exactly what that would look like but maybe a first and a B+ prospect?

Would you trade Necas for a late 1st and a B+ prospect?

No. But that’s why I preempted it with “not really sure what the value for Fiala is”.

I tried to pry Necas from the Canes two years ago and they weren't having it. So I'm sure we won't be able to get him now from any of their fans.
