Calgary media that are pretty close to the Flames actually believe Gaudreau will sign an extension in Calgary.

If he absolutely shut down the thought of extending, he would have been dealt two weeks ago

Gaudreau actually has a very good chance of resigning this summer, he has been very open about wanting to stay in Calgary long term

You are aware Calgary is 100% not rebuilding right?

Why would NYR spend that much for Monahan when reportedly they won't spend that much for Eichel?

I can say with confidence that these trades are definitely not remotely realistic.

Only way Monahan gets moved is if a 1C upgrade (like Eichel) is coming back
Only way Lindholm gets moved is if the Patriots win the 2023 Stanley Cup
You values are all over the place and dont make any sense for either team involved

I think Zadorov has a qualifying offer of $3.2m so he isn’t signing for 3 years at $1.15m. Could be wrong but I think Chicago would of given that offer to keep him as an RFA and I think that offer gets traded with him.

None of these trade values are realistic.

JG is likely extending in CGY. Him being a NJ native is barely a factor. It’s a business, players rarely make decisions on a short career bc they want to move back home.

Monahan is on a steady decline, that NYR return is way too much. Would rather have Strome over him.

What? Am I missing something here in the leafs trade? Seem like your missing on or a few more things.

Also if the rangers seeing trading schnieder for eichel they aren't doing it for monahan

Not even the right part of NJ ... JG grew up just outside of Philly. No where near Newark (home of NJD).

Lindholm for Rielly, a future Rielly in Sandin, a 15th overall pick, a first and a second??? I would expect Eichel for that trade

no way in hell, that leafs trad is one of the worst ive seen. thats like paying $500 for a bottle of water. way too much. but i doubt this is serious
