I doubt Detroit trades Larkin baring a massive overpay.

Not even close slick, Try adding at least Jesperi Kotkaniemi then we can talk. Poehling has 5 points in 28 career NHL games not impressed. Detroit's Defensive pipeline is the best in the NHL so Kulak isn't a need either. This is terrible for our 25 year old Captain and hometown kid.

Still doesn't move the needle. It's not even about value, trading Larkin would set the rebuild SO far back, as it would signal a complete blow up to move him. A team would have to overpay at a level that their GM should IMMEDIATELY be fired for even considering it. Think Caulfield, Suzuki and 3 1st round picks crazy.. and no, I'm not suggesting that trade, just using it as a barometer of how badly it would need to favor Detroit to move Larkin.

Oh i totally agree with what you're saying, It would've to be a massive overpayment to move Larkin. Doesn't matter because he's not going anywhere anytime soon.

No one screws over Yzerman. Hes the one doing the f***ing. In fact, his number should be blocked on MB’s cell. He’d probably find a way to take Suzuki and Caufield for scraps.
