Why rush him in a season of incredibly low expectations?

He won’t, but if he miraculously does, I’d bet we see him on the 2nd line with Nyquist and Bjorkstrand, not the 1st line. I’d hope Foudy got a shot at a top 6 role to start the season tbh.

I hope foudy takes the next step but last year was disappointing to say the least. I don’t see him cracking the top 9 to be honest. At least bemstrom at times took over games when his confidence was with him.(and was a complete liability when he didn’t have any) Foudy was consistently speedy and had very little impact in either zone.

Also I could see cole making it out of camp for a 3-5 game teaser and sent back for one more year of refining.

He's not ready. Maybe 22/23 he is, but it's just too soon. It's a massive jump from the USHL to the NHL

i don't think edmonton is at all interested in korpisalo for that price. I know that was the rumor but seravalli also said that was the ask from Columbus not what edmonton wanted to pay. Domi is too much cap to take on.

I believe with this organization and coaching staff nothing is given, and Foudy, Bemstrom, Stenlund, Sillinger and even Chinakov will all be in a position to earn a roster spot this year.

Sillinger definitely has the body and style to make the team this year. It will be tough to supplant one of the guys in front of him, especially with the Kuraly signing, but it could definitely happen.

Like Cannon said, if he does make it, in a building season, if he’s not dominating he should be sent to junior before his 10-game limit.

I'd make this trade regardless of if he makes the team.

IMO, I don't particularly care if he is good enough to make the main club...put him in the AHL, let him play with Cleveland. He is 18, and the team is rebuilding and in no rush.

Foudy and Bemstrom need more Top-6 time to see what they can offer.
