No, i mean like a message that you send to a person that only they can see.

Is there any update on this? Just wanting to know if it's a plan you have. It could be really useful for the GM Game.

Season Greeting Mr Banks.

Here's a suggestion. Could a post number be included in the title of the post? It would make it easier for GMs to refer to posts. For instance you might be talking on 2 PM about post # 126. You might want to refer fellow GMs to a previous post such as # 43. Would the post easier to find.

Thanks PalHal

These do exist already, for example your post in this thread is #152, it's at the top right of the blue box enclosing the post.

What we will add to the to-do list is a link to those numbers that will act as a direct link to the post

I was thinking more of a when a ACGM posts a "team". That type of post has a "name". A corresponding number would allows folks to find it quickly . Name Rating Season Created By. Could a separate column, beside name, be used so folks could refer to past Armchair Team. Kinda of chronological order....

Troll or non-constructive responses are against the rules and get warnings or infractions. Troll AGMs should have something like an automatic 1-week suspension. Giving a "poor" response to something that you do not like is one thing. Posting an original AGM that is obvious troll level is another. If you want to clean the place p and keep it high quality, then get rid of the trash from the start.

First off - Best site on the net, you guys have built something special.

Suggestion (Wish List) - Draft Board: Scouting. Would love to see a page that filters by team to show how effective teams have been with the draft. Games played at the NHL level could be the main summary, so that if filtered to all teams it would essentially rank them. Whereas that's not the only way to measure effectiveness, would be a good start, perhaps open the door for future adds like games played by undrafted acquisitions, player production, etc. Betting this would get some clicks, I know it would from me!

Here is a suggestion, add in a fantasy draft simulator involving different variations and like the expansion you have going for Seattle and an original 6 draft with modern day players, along with a normal fantasy draft. Next, this I know would be very hard to code, is adding in a simulation for making a trade and seeing how well it does. Example: Tampa trades a 7th for mcdavid and you could simulate how well they do based off of their trade for the rest of the season. 3rd there is putting in top prospects and putting in a lottery simulation and a team could draft that prospect based off of how well they did. Example: flyers finish with the worst record and they get jack Hughes and he is put into the team for the next year. Lastly: could you just make it possible to trade 2019 picks in 2020 teams.

Can we get a report button for ACGM's and not just post. The site is being inundated with troll ACGM's or things that belong in the forum section.

Would there be any interest in tracking fines and suspensions on Capfriendly?
I don't find other sources to be satisfactory and it can be relevant to roster moves / line combinations, especially during the playoffs.
It could generate discussion and would be convenient to view a player's history and the NHL's decisions on a site I visit regularly anyway.

If this isn't in CF's plans, that's okay. I'll stop asking, but I just want to know if it's being considered or not.

Edit: I'm talking about messages that go to one person.

AGM is down for maintenance. Maybe creating a spin-off AC, Armchair Coach, for people that just do lineups with no actual GMing involved...?

Suggestions:

Advance AGM teams to the following year to see cap implications, etc.

A list of AGM signings and trades to help set what a player's value is

Could you add a filter in AGM to search for posts involving trades with a specific team?

It would be cool to have a special forum for people to ask questions about the salary cap, and players deals.

It would be VERY cool if it was possible to reverse engineer the Comparables Tool so that rather than being able to look up comparable contracts that are already signed you could look up comparable players.

For example: If I want to figure out what the terms of the contract Rantanen is likely to sign this offseason the tool would pull up players who had previously signed contracts with similar resumes at the time they signed. The tool would search for forwards (preferably wingers) who signed contracts at around 22 years old with around 239 games played 80 goals and 209 points. Factor in as much tangible data as possible that teams and agents usually look at when negotiating.

It'd be a big undertaking, I'm sure. Just an idea to kick around.

Yeah yeah the above ideas are cool but you know what would be the coolest?! If we could block specific posters AGM's like we can for their comments. I can't take the hundreds and hundreds of spam and off topic AGM's that section has every day.
