Description
Just was interested due to rumors that BOS could be a landing spot for Eichel, how that would work. Like David Pagnotta mentioned there could be a salary retention involved.
Please let me know your thoughts.

There's nothing of interest in Boston. Downside of being so good for so long, nothing in the propsect pool worth looking at

laugh laugh 30 other NHL teams could blow away that offer, it's simply dreadful for the Sabres.

This actually undersells just how bad this offer is. Too nice.

Not allowing Eichel to get neither artificial discreplacement or anterior cervical discectomy and fusion is such a stinker from the Sabres. In the meantime he will miss the start of the season for sure - the first is going to last at least 7 weaks to recover. He will get his surgery with Dr. Prusmamack but there is no insurance that it will end up well. So his trade value shrinks with every day.

And Buffalo is famous for their good management and trades. Hall for a 2nd. Over and out.

The offer isn't nearly enough. I can 100% see Buffalo botching an Eichel deal though. Now is the best time to move Eichel. Once the season starts, getting a $10mil cap to fit is tough and next off-season his NMC kicks in so he calls the shots

The only way Eichel to Boston gets a momentum is if Buffalo let's Eichel's NMC kick in.

Now is just about the worst possible time to trade him. They're probably daring him to go to medical arbitration because he'll definitely lose. (Wondering why he hasn't done it yet? That's why. Let the doctor promoting the surgery and himself blather on all he wants. No independent arbitrator is going to approve the replacement.)

I'm putting my money on the team delaying as long as possible and keeping him out as long as possible with fusion (or suspension if he just gets the replacement on his own). They have until next draft to trade him before the NMC when there might be more clarity on the cap so why bother now?

NMC importance is way overblown anyway. His alternative is...staying in Buffalo. He'll waive any number of places (wouldn't you?) but I agree that is the only way Boston is legitimately in the conversation right now. Hall was a professional who hadn't burned his bridges so Adams sent him where he wanted. Adams owes Eichel no favors...

We'll disagree on when is/isn't a good time. But I'll say this about BUF and the NMC...when he's healthy and they need to play him, do they? Does Eichel refuse? Do they tell him to stay away? What team wants to pay to tell their star to not show up

If he refuses, he gets suspended without pay. He's not going to do that. And they're still gonna suck so they don't "need him to play". 5 years left. Eichel has almost no leverage.

Not allowing Eichel to get neither artificial dis replacement... I am not a doctor and have not diagnosed Jack, so I do not know what is the best treatment, why do you? And Buffalo is famous for their good management and trades. Hall for a 2nd. Over and out. That trade was made before Karmanos became assistant to the GM. See the return for Ristolainen and Reinhart to measure the difference.

Stating that the Sabres are intentionally holding up treatment is insinuating that the Sabres never wanted him to play for them again and intentionally reducing his value.
Any reasonable individual would know neither of these is true.
