do u really think theyll acquire 4-5 pieces in a deal without at least a Dman in the deal? honestly i think one of the pieces will be a Dman but the package will be forward heavy

They drafted 2 dmen this year, one with the first pick because he is a cant miss prospect projected to go #1 and 1 with their last pick. If anything they take a dman as a cap dump

I surprised an Ottawa fan made this post. Just my thought, I hate the Eichel trade from Sens view. And even the other trades, don't really help the Sens.

Time to push forward. We have the pieces. We are missing a top centre mostly

I don't know if an injured Eichel is the piece to move forward. I would like to see if Pinto is bonafide top 2 centre this season. Then next season if the Sens are a legit playoff contender, spend cap on a UFA(s) and I think Sens would have a better team, than acquiring 10m Eichel.

do not think eichel will be moved till next offseason, he still wants that surgery and would want the team acquiring him to let him have it, and if it kills his career could be a team destroying trade for the team getting him.

I really like the options we'd have with the moves you made

But gotta find a way to not make that trade with Edmonton, Connor Brown is a key piece. His speed, non-stop motor, work ethic, offensive contribution and particularly his PK excellence would be deeply missed. It's also important to have a good bottom-6 but the one we'd have here would be putrid. Also keeping Chabot's best buddy as he doesn't have much value and he allows you to have a deeper/stronger bottom-6

So this would be the package (personally think it's a big mistake to trade Pinto and also very risky to get Eichel) :

Brännström, Erik
Pinto, Shane
2022 1st round pick (OTT)
Järventie, Roby
2022 2nd round pick (TBL)

I really doubt any team will/could beat that offer. So with my modifications :

Stutzle-Eichel-Tarasenko
Tkachuk-Norris-Batherson
Paul-Henrique-Brown
Formenton-White-Watson

Defense still sucks though

I don't get the logic here... Why mention the number of D-men they drafted to support your argument if they only drafted 2 D-men out of 11 picks?

Because theyre clearly not worried about D prospects, or they would have drafted more
