That's not enough to dump Byron. Based on the Ladd trade it probably costs a 2nd and a 3rd.

kulak and a 3rd is good. look at my other "next year" ACGM and its usually a 2nd

Kulak isn't worth the difference between a 3rd and a 2nd. Personally I wouldn't take on Byron's contract for a 2nd but I could see another GM doing that if they don't see the Canadians making the playoffs in a tough division next year.

byron is still a good player just making about 1M too much
