2 end of the round 1sts, a bust prospect, and 2 cap dumps is not fair value for a top 10, 24 year old franchise center, who is over a ppg player on a nothing roster. You have to give up something to get something.

you dont know where those picks will be, poehling is not a bust hes only 22, kulak isnt a cap dump. byron is thats what the 2nd rd pick is for. KK is good

Yawn. Quality is lacking.

KK is not good for a 3OA pick. I much rather have Tkachuk who was drafted 4OA.
Lets be clear here:
Kotkaniemi and Poehling together have a little less value than two Casey Mittelstadts. Kotkaniemi has 62 pts in 171 games, Poehling 5 in 28 while Mittelstadt has 61 pts in 155. Casey is obviously better.
With Eichel does one think the Canadians would perform significantly worse than last year, if not the 2022 1st, 2023 1st and 2022 2nd would all be near the end of the round or two early 2nd and an early 3rd.
While Kulak may not be a pure cap dump as his salary is commensurate with his performance, but he would be playing in Rochester as the Sabres have Dahlin, Power, Hagg, Butcher, Bryson ahead of him.
Byron is a pure cap dump.
Buffalo is trading Eichel to Montreal for two Casey Mittelstadts, an unneeded LHD, two
LATE firsts, a
LATE second and a cap dump!
Let's turn the table.
Buffalo offers Mittelstadt, Thompson, Pysyk, 2022 2nd, 2023 2nd and Kyle Okposo for Suzuki, would ANY Montreal fan say yes?
Then no Buffalo fan will say yes to this offer for Jack Eichel.
