If a 1st was being offered up for Deslauriers then the ducks would have made that trade already. Deslauriers probably doesn’t get more than a 7th and I doubt the pens are interested. He sucks and has too high of a cap hit. If he was making league minimum then the pens probably pay a 7th for him, but after signing McGinn, Heinen, and ERod to 1 million + each and signing Simon, I doubt they trade anything for Deslauriers. Especially since Hextall said he wouldn’t move higher draft picks or good prospects unless he is getting a top 6/top 4 player with term and a decent contract.

not much benefit in dumping ej at this point. free agency is pretty well over. maybe next season but not at that price.

Rangers don't need Lindholm and at that price they don't want him.

Way too much for a rental in lindholm, like many players on Ana, waiting FAR too long to move them while they still have term has murdered their value and knowing the GM he will probably resign them because they think they are still competing.

Same for Rakell who hasn't been good in years, I don't see him getting a 1st

Col NEEDS EJ and has no use for cap space so they wouldn't make that move

Rakell didn’t get a 1st at the TDL when the aquiring team would have had 2 cup runs with him, why does he return a 1st and a prospect now?

Murray is asleep at the wheel. Should have moved on from many players at the TDL. Canes would have paid a ransom for Rakell and/or Manson last year. He’s gonna end up getting pennies on the dollar.

We balked at the Manson asking price last TDL, went with Hakanpää instead

Even with retention, Boston can't afford him. His declining production isn't a ringing endorsement either. Might as well wait until he's a UFA.
