From one bad contract to another. Seems like a Benning thing to do. Karlsson has six years left and even for 7.5 we basically have 15 mil on 2 defenders for 6 years with him and OEL. No thanks

Karl wouldn't waive to Vancouver. No way retaining 4mil with Jones' buyout, Kanes likely buyout.

Also for a whopping $1.5 million in cap savings I would rather have the guy who has the Norris ability in him rather than the guy who has been mediocre his whole career and would be out of the league if not for just being 6'8.

Its basically a terrible trade for us no matter how you look at it. Myers is an awful, awful hockey player.
