This is exactly the type of trade the sharks are known for, and something the sabres need to do. Works for both parties.

I think they learned from the EK trade that they should not be trading their top prospects unless they're at the top of the competition. Currently they're far from that.

Sharks arent trading Eklund

I am now picturing Eichel and a Terminator walking up to Eklund who’s holding a sign saying 2022 1st and Evander Kane.

So a First, the sharks top two prospects inEklund and Bordeleau, and a proven NHLer in labanc for a guy who is coming off of NECK SURGERY that has not been proven to be successful in hockey players. Seems like a massive gamble and overpayment for the sharks and a kings ransom for Buffalo who doesn’t have much leverage due to Eichel wanting out.

I’d trade like Simek and a 2nd most for Eichel.
