We aren't going to trade bobrovsky. We will ride out his contract for a few years then buy it out. Trading a young cost controlled elite asset in Lundell to get rid of salary is just counterproductive. Also there is no real reason to spend assets to get rid of his contract.

Zero reason for Florida to give up their future 2C to dump Bob, they can just wait it out and if he bounces back, great, if not, they can buy him out in a few years, what if he suddenly starts playing back to his old form… Florida got rid of their best prospect, to get rid of that.

The buyout on Bob would be a mil more season than what is being retained (I'm pretty sure) and they could keep Lundell. That's a definite no deal.
