Yes and no i love that but i would hate to give up Kostin that being said yes STL does make out like bandit
tho why does CGY not do it i dont see the the problem other than the second round pick instead take away CGY first and second and BUF gets Kostin so basically you get Eichel put VT retained for Lucic, Monhan, zary and Tkchuck

Calgary is trading away 3 top 9 regulars for 2 that have been on LTIR for a while now. Thats a lot of risk. especially since the FA market is dried up now

Vlads probably not going to waive to Calgary anyways so its not realistic

adding Coleman allowed us to not have to run the likes of Brett Ritchie in the top 6 again

Whole thing is a mess that makes no sense for Buffalo. Take on a bunch of cap to facilitate 2 other teams getting all the best pieces while taking a return for Eichel which you could just do straight up without taking on extra cap to begin with. Tons of sense...
