Description

For whatever reason, the Rangers are apparently in on Tarastankshow... I can't stress enough how unexcited I would be at this. But, let's see how it could work, or if it could work. They are also allegedly looking to dish out Strome. I don't see how this could be one trade, so I'm assuming this would take at least two trades to make work.

At the end of the day, I'd much rather have Buch than Tara + Blais, especially since acquiring both of these really clogs up the wingers, which allegedly was the purpose of trading Buch in the first place... I would be genuinely concerned if this all happens... even more so if Kravstov is somehow involved in the Tara trade (to make more sense for wing depth)

Additional Details:

The retained salary won't feel too good for STL, but it does get rid of the contract. They have Perron and Parayko to re-sign next offseason, but I think they can still find a way to make it work.

We add some extra sweeteners for retained salary, which is the only way I think this could work regardless. Looking at the Blues lineup, the only weakpoint I really see is at the LD position, and not much of a backup. They will likely flip Georgiev at the deadline for even more assets, unless there's a reason to keep him for the playoffs.

Puck Empire on Instagraham, with the source from "The Fourth Period". The exact quote was "linked to". Obviously not saying it's true, rumors are rumors, you know how it is. I just wanted to see how they could potentially look. I've also seen OTT and VGK in the past... whoever it is, the point was he goes to someone for picks/prospects

Imagine they can’t land Eichel or any of the other big names, and Zibanejad walks next year because of contracts coming up, such as Fox, Shesterkin, Kaako etc… who’s their 1C?

For sure, I gotcha. Strome to MIN def makes some degree of sense as a temporary patch to the 1C, I just didn’t know if rumors had ramped up recently. I think the problem for MIN is that we likely won’t put together a winning offer for him. IMO BG will protect picks and prospects pretty aggressively. I’d be ok with a 3rd and B prospect, but I doubt Rags would be.

I would expect an offer like a 3rd and mcbain or maybe khovanov or else beckman and a 5th for him and a 4th or or something similar. But either strome makes sense for the team.

Regardless of whether you want to consider "them" a legit source (which, they are), do you not understand what the word "rumor" means? Can you not read the rest of the post and comments stating "whatever rumored team", etc? Every single "legit source" has put up rumors that don't come up true
