Go look at their underlying metrics with isolated impacts. Go talk to 100 hockey fans who aren’t fans of either team and aren’t biased. You’ll find the overwhelming majority have Tkachuk as a level up player from Guentzel, especially factoring in his potential.

Grew up in NC and was a Canes fan from day 1, moved to DC for 5 years and ended up watching a ton of their games since it was difficult to get access to Canes games up there and now live back in NC. These players have nothing to do with either of those teams. You’re over valuing a player on your favorite team, that’s the bias. Plain and simple. You don’t have to get defensive or upset, it’s just a conversation about a hypothetical trade that would never happen in the first place.
