not a comment on the value itself, but there is less than 0% chance the Rangers trade Lafrenière. Also NYR apparently won’t include either of Lundkvist or Schneider in a deal for Eichel, let alone both of them.

If Drury is really telling Adams that both Lundkvist and Schneider are untouchable, but come on ol buddy, let’s make a deal I’d block his number.

Let’s break this down:

First….
retaining $5mil for 5years is worth (AT LEAST) one of Schneider or Lundkvist- if not both

Second….
Olofsson is a proven goal scorer in the league, so he’s with the other one of them (plus more imo)

So lastly….
That leaves Lafreniere & Georgiev for Eichel
And that’s just laughable to think an unproven Lafreniere & a current backup goalie coming off a down season (compared to the year before) would even be remotely close to enough value for a proven top10 player in the league

Buffalo will never get near this in an eichel trade. It’s laughable that ya think that they’re gonna get more than this for him (even with 50%)
