So a center who can play on your top 2 lines, your PP and your PK, for a 3rd liner who's regressed the last 2 years, a 4th liner who won't score 20 points and is a defensive liability, and a wasted first round pick?

I can't see EDM getting excited about this......

Not a huge regression until last year. His ceiling, playing with a Bum-hip David Krejci, at the time was 27 goals. How many times did RNH do that?

Put DeBrusk, McDavid, and Senyshyn and they will produce eq or better than RNH + Pullijiarvi.

Wagner is a character guy to bring around the team. He knows what it takes to make the cup finals. Something EDM can use. They are following Toronto for unexpected exits in the playoffs.

If you take a small sample size, then Senyshyn (if you watched the games) was a PPG player 2yrs ago, on the 3rd line, if it wasn’t for someone being a mm offside and a goal overturned (national broadcast was baffled… not just Bs fans).

Last year he was playing well until DeBrusk and Ritchie destroyed all chances of success on any line they played on. Yes debrusk was not good, but he’s a kid, isolated from his family for a really long time, with only Twitter to keep him company. How many times can you read 2015 bust draft with him and Senyshyn in the limelight.

If EDM doesn’t jump on that deal, I think they are missing out quite a bit.

The more I talk it out, the less chance Boston makes that trade right now.

Maybe find another cash strapped team that has to make moves to get under the cap ( EDM and TBL) get a better return.

They just signed RNH to a 8 year contract with a NMC. No way they trade him

I love how people have written off Jake Debrusk which is hilarious as many players have had off years or regression seasons - I mean by these standard Clayton Keller, Ryan Strome, Brandon Saad, even almost Barzal to an extent is a bust because they haven't repeated their best season and have continued to see regressions in their points.

Its fair to say that DeBrusk wont live up to his draft position but lets temper the this "he is worthless chatter", its way to soon to say that at this moment. Is the deal above isn't likely getting it done for RNH, but its funny to see everyone writing off players with such ease.

I said absolutely nothing negative about JDB LOL. All I said is they aren't trading him because they just extended him and trading a player after just signing them would make it so UFA’S don't want yo sign there

To be fair ( to be faaaaaiiir), you added in the last part.

RNH is good but there is little doubt in my mind the DeBrusk performs as good or better in the same position. Even with Leon he’s likely back to “himself”.

It would be odd to trade him, and he does have an NMC, so would have to approve, but honestly, I’ve called many contracts and trades and I’ve almost never had anyone in Capfriendly say that’s good.

It’s always “that’s not enough for that player”, and they sign for the exact term and AAV. That isn’t enough for that player, and then trades come in that are the same or worse.

Anyway. DeBrusk and Grzelyk will be traded before the season starts, and they will get a 1LD and a current 3C who has upside to be a 2C.

Wow you’re on fire today. Another trade where you’re just absolutely robbing the other team blind.

First off, great Letter Kenny reference in your previous response.

My draft comment wasn't in reference to Debrusk......he's the 3rd liner. Senyshen is the wasted draft pick. I like Debrusk, and he's still got time to turn it around, but he's not worth a proven top line player (with the package you put together).

And besides, the Bruins already have way too many guys signed below their actual value, you're not allowed to have anymore lol

And I'm a firm believe that Keller and Strome are way over paid, and Saad was overpaid, but is now back in line where he should be.

Yeah that "S" word was a waste of a draft pick thus far and likely the worst selection Sweeney has made to date - we don't speak his name unless he becomes a top 6 forward, until then....he never happened LOL

Ha Ha Ha - yeah its nice that the Bruins core and some of the leaders on the team have tried to build a get paid, but lets not get greedy environment - however lets see how long that lasts. Watching Darnell Nurse get $9.25 million per year made me sick to my stomach on what Charlie McAvoy could be getting next contract frown

I referenced 2 quotes - perhaps not all of my comments applied to your post.
