Forget it then, that’s terrible for Detroit.

The package in the other ACGM was bad, it this doesn’t make it more fair.

To put it bluntly, this is not a go trade for either side.

Horrible for Detroit. Toronto adds to a nylander/Larkin trade. Although trade doesn't make sense for either team as Detroit needs centers and Toronto has matthews and Tavares

Red Wings don't want or need Nylander right now. Especially if it costs their current 1st line Center, who is the CAPTAIN, AND A HIGH FIRST ROUND PICK, AND!!! a high second round pick???

I wouldn't even want them to do Larkin for Nylander 1 for 1 without the picks.

Because Larkin has scored less points over his career than Nylander? He's also been bad defensively as well. Seems strange to have more value than the player who's been far more successful.

Nice to see Wings fans getting a taste of their own medicine here. Only on capfriendly do players on the worst team in the league have massive value over better players from good teams. "If they were on a better team they would have better numbers". Perhaps if they were better players their team would be better.

It’s more about where each team currently is, Detroit just isn’t in a position to be giving up that much for one player.

Seems strange to look at raw point totals and not look at huge differences between the quality of teams.

Guess you'd trade matthews for Blake wheeler since wheeler puts up 90 point seasons, or gaudreau

Nylander has never been an all star and probably never will be if he stays in Toronto while Larkin has been

I don't think Detroit would ever pay more than nylander is worth to acquire him.
Detroit would never trade Larkin anyways, he's their captain and a hometown boy.
Nylander was linked to Toronto with a Bertuzzi deal but I'm pretty sure that's fizzled out recently.
Also one bad Detroit post and Toronto fans being all like "there's a taste of your own medicine" is the dumbest thing I've heard today so far. I think about 90% of the hundred Toronto posts a day have absolutely ridiculous trades in them.
Also we may over value our players because that's what they are worth to our team, Larkin is a 1C on Detroit so the return should reflect that. Not saying he gets what eichel gets but he gets more than if he was say on a team with better centre depth. Same with Bertuzzi as wet have no one that can fill in for these players their value is very high for Detroit. If you don't like it, don't trade for them.

Larkin bad defensively? Point totals got it, let’s look at GF for a team in that time span and linemates…

A Pens fan made one Detroit ACGM about Nylander…. Let’s forget the 10+ daily ACGMs where Toronto pawns off crap for Bertuzzi or sends bottom six player to Detroit.

Wings fans on here like to say any of their players are worth massive hauls. Like Bertuzzi being worth a top prospect, a 1st and a 2.2nds. which is insane for a middle 6 winger. It's funny to see a post giving them a little taste of their own medicine. These guys though Glendenning was going to get a 2nd plus without retainment.

41 goals in 53 games last season. No one in hockey put up those numbers.

Bertuzzi is a middle 6 winger on a bad team. He isn't a top line elite player. Good players on really bad teams are great players on better teams.

Yeah nothing you've said in this thread is accurate or correct. If you can't handle Wings fans telling you no then stop trying to trade for players they don't want to give up. It's amazing how tone deaf fans like you are to how miserable you make everyone else around you.

Over the last 2 seasons he played he was 23rd highest scoring left wing while playing playing a complete 2 way game. During those 2 seasons Detroit had 366 goals for (dead last) while Toronto had 523 goals for (second). Your last sentence “ Good players on really bad teams are great players on better teams.” I’d agree with as the supporting cast is better which helps high IQ players produce more so Bertuzzi would do better. He may have lead TOI but his quality of competition would be lower then and he’d also have better linemates. Nothing you’ve said tells me you’ve watched Detroit games and you still haven’t told me why you think Larkin is bad defensively or why you’re getting so heated that a Pittsburgh fan made one Detroit ACGM with a Nylander trade.
