Immo I'd rather roll with Poelhing without giving anything than acquiring Dvorak especially for that price. He's a great player, don't get me wrong, but he's also overrated atm. Inflated stats because of the fact that he was the forward who played the most for ARZ last year. 2 2nd is the max he can fetch

I can’t decide on what his value is lol, I did another trade with the rangers and someone said it wasn’t enough (2022 2nd, Zac Jones, Morgan Barron). There’s certainly no way he’s getting the equivalent to 2 firsts.

Why would Arizona trade him for only two 2nds? He is on a good deal for 4 more years... I'd say they shouldn't trade him at all unless it's an overpay (like this trade for example). A contender who needs a cost controlled C long term would pay a big price for Dvorak if Arizona is patient.

But I agree with you... just give Poehling a shot, no need to overpay when there are good options within the organization already.
