Montreal is unlikely to move their 1st next year because they are hosting the first in person draft in 2 years and it will be a huge event for them. So unless it's an Eichel trade then I would say the 22 1st is almost off limits.

You're 100% correct but I don't mind this deal for MTL if that pick gets adjusted to a '23 first instead, and possibly a later round pick it in the '22 draft to compensate. Personally I would hope MTL could somehow include Miller coming back for more of the same as well...

Tuch is going to LTIR for the year so it should work with him and Smith off the Cap.
