Why would Ottawa do this gudreau is past his prime and the other player I have never even heard of and a 3rd Ottawa says hell nah

So Ottawa trades the way younger, way more valuable player for scrap parts for the privilege of pay Johnny Gaudreau way too much money, OR lose him completely as a free agent
