Im really not a huge fan of Kuzy, but 1 for 1 for Strome is hard to not accept.

Considering they’re likely getting Eichel, the Rangers aren’t doing that.

Not unless Caps are retaining. The risk on Kutzy is not worth giving up 3.8 mil MORE IN CAP SPACE, for a player who has not preformed as well as Strome over the past 2 years. Not to mention off ice issues both with drugs, COVID protocols and having a bad influence around so many young players.
Add mid round pick/prospect and eat 3 mil.
Otherwise , why would NY even have interest.??

Likely? Doesn’t seem likely based on latest reports. Maybe they’ll get back into the market but seems like they’re far apart and no deal is imminent.

From how Dave Pagnotta was talking on Friday, he seemed pretty convinced that it’s likely going in that direction. And it’s not like any other team is close.
