I think you are light on that contract..... think it will be closer to the Bratt bridge deal.

Having said that, I love what Fitz did this offseason! I maybe a Leafs fan, but I look at this line up and say, yeah, I think they can compete for a playoff spot.

If Sharangovich gets 2 mill for how he performed this season, I would think Janne gets slightly less than that. Not discounting the dudes talent he is going to be a huge asset for us!

He probably deserves more. But Shango taking such a friendly 2x2 gives Fitz some leverage, as Shango did have the better season. Might be something like 1.75x2 for that reason.

Devil's D is just fantastic IMO. Should be an exciting season.

Its been a long and painful road - worth the wait though!

I still am not sure Boqvist can hold down the 3rd line center position this year (or ever yet) and we will need to add another veteran bottom 6 C/W. I am def excited about the re-vamped D corp, but I would not be against or surprised if they sign another D-man that fits in that 6 or 7 spot sharing time with Siegenthaler.

Otherwise, I am def excited for this season!
