Yes I’m sure Minnesota would give up their three top prospects, a 1st, and three other players for Crosby. Makes a ton of sense

Yeah, I think DeBrusk + 1st gets done. If it was no salary, then I'd 'say just the 1st,.

I mean, who the heck do you think letang is? Nevermind the horrid value, RD is the last position the bruins would be looking to add at.

Yeah, I think if there was any kind of trade to be had it would be one of the prospects and more draft pick-heavy. The only part of this I see why he did this is taking Rask off your hands and retaining money on Sid.

If I had to rework this deal I'd say the following:

TO MIN: Sid 50% retained
TO PIT: Rask, One of Boldy or Rossi, 2022 1st, 2023 Conditional 2nd (If min reaches the cup final this year it becomes a 1st) and maybe an additional 3rd rounder.

I love Crosby, he's great. But holy cow, what an overpay! We give up basically everything but Guerin's apartment and the boards from Xcel Energy Center.

Nashville is in the beginning of an announced "competitive rebuild". We can absorb Duchene's caphit. Zucker isn't a rebuild move. Trading a prospect the team was so high on that they traded up to get him is a non-starter.

I respectfully disagree here. Duchene is barely worth half of his salary right here. Moving him for Zucker sets your free of that contract which could still be lingering when you want to come out of the "competitive rebuild." Zucker is probably at the worst equal to Duchene at this point.

Aware, and I watched him get roasted in the playoffs.

Look at the bruins right side. No interest.

I'm not disagreeing about him being a poor fit for Boston, but we'll have to agree to disagree on the level of player he is.
