So many good young players. However... it seems like LAK wants to contend now, if im them, looking at the stacked 2022 class id probably put it off a year and try to get another top 10ish pick. However if they do make the playoffs I'm sure they won't bat an eye about missing out on another great prospect. They need a solid goalie or 2 to really even things out.

Fun ranking. As someone who's watched them as much as possible, I think Turcotte and Kupari are switched. Kupari's got speed and some hands, but he needs to figure out the mental side of the game. Turcotte has only been disappointing because he's had some injuries that have held him back the past couple years-- which, to be fair, is concerning. But watching them play, Turcotte just ... gets it. He's so cerebral on the ice and makes every little play it takes for a team to win. He's got the same speed/skill (if not more) than Kupari, but has the mental side too. He just doesn't have the same size.

Both Vilardi and Mikey Anderson have graduated. And I don't agree with your "overrated" comment on Anderson at all. If anything, he proved he was exteremely UNDER-rated. He played 1st pair minutes all of his rookie season and made one of the best 5-on-5 pairs in the NHL with Doughty. He was probably the brightest point of optimism for the Kings last year, until Byfield got his cup of tea.

Turcotte will be Byfields winger on the top line, he got gold last season and was fine as a pro just had some lingering injuries. Kings still see him as their second best prospect.

    1. Byfield
    2. Turcotte
    3. Clarke
    4. Kaliyev
    5. Faber

Would be my top-5. Vilardi, Bjornfot, Grans would be next three.

    10. Thomas

I didn't include Vilardi, Anderson, or Bjornfot on this list because they're all permanent NHLers now.

I don't understand how you have Anderson so low. He's played top pairing minutes with Drew Doughty and looked good. He's going to play there again this season. Doughty raves about the kid.

Bjornfot has also graduated from the prospect list and is now a full time NHLer. He likely tops out at 2LD, but I have him penciled in as the next Captain of the Kings once Kopitar retires.

You should probably have Chromiak on your list as well. I'd have him on par with Pinelli.
