it isnt worth a 3rd round pick to clear 500K for a year.. oilers pass.
also probably see eichel demanding a trade as soon as he is announced as a senator

Unless It’s for off ice reasons, Ottawa would be the best fit for him. This would be a competitive team with him and probably will be very good once JBD and Sanderson are ready by next year

americans have a history of preferring to stay in the states. Ottawa in the last 5 years has also been a train wreck for the most part both on and office.
Im sure he will want to stay in the states and end up on a NYR or LA or ANA before OTT. he doesnt have a NTC or NMC yet but i dont think he is one to be shy and say I dont want to play there.

Sure, but this team might not be terribe enough to win the lottery, a backhand complement to their young players! Buffalo will be a far worse team despite the Eichel trade, and will have a better shot at Wright. Arizona might also be worse.

I think you're right on a lot of fronts, but with a SUPER strong top 2 and a fair few good prospects other than Wright/Lambert any high pick this year would be great

Totally fair. I thought that a 2022 4th was fair value but EDM doesn't have a 4th this year so I just went for the furthest 3rd I could

I think Pinto, Norris, or Jimmy would need to be in the discussion for a real Eichel trade. If I am buffalo I say no way unless you include an actual high-end prospect. Logan Brown would get injured on his flight to Buffalo. Also, pls eject that 4th line into the sun.

That offer is four 1sts, a 2nd and CBrown, who is 100% worth at least a 1st+ in a deadline trade and can play on the team during the season.

I would be okay with including Pinto but it would rework the balance of the trade eg, 2nd round pick value decreasing

That 4th line, while deserving of a shot into the sun, should do well for helping us secure wright
