Think Canes will be lower than Isles and can't see Devils place 4th in the Metro.

Though I commend you on the guys you picked to represent the teams.

Yeah, me too.
But I figured putting them 3rd or higher would draw complaints of homer-ism

What makes you think the Canucks finish second last after Anaheim and LA? Why? The canucks are so much better than both and should be in second or third, not second last…

You do have the worst D core in the league, and that's including Hughes.

LA adds Danault and Arvidsson and that suddenly jumps them from a bottom 8 team to a playoff team? Not realistic. Maybe in a couple years.

Edmonton has a worse d core than us and they are sitting comfortably in second. Also it’s impossible to say our d core is the worst because it all depends on what kind of OEL we get. If we get a good refreshed OEL, our d core isn’t as terrible.

LA was one of the hottest teams ending the 2020-21 season. We have prospects who will improve this season. Danault is a shut down forward. Arvidsson can be a 25-30 goal scorer still, especially playing with Kopitar. Defensively you have guys like Roy & Anderson who are improving more & more. LA Kings have one of the best chemistry lineups. Look out for guys like Vilardi, Moore, and Athanasiou. LA Kings are a much better team than Vancouver. Anyways.. you’re stating the kings were a bottom team and out of a sudden they a playoff team, Vancouver was last place in the division last season and you’re saying they’re gonna be 2nd-3rd place team.

I like the young group LAK has put together
ANA is kind of my wild card (this assumes they keep their Goalie)

Not high on Vancouver's team defensive play.
If it looked bad vs North last year, it could really look bad against rest of league.

Clearly you have absolutely zero knowledge about the Vancouver Canucks.
Reason Number one why we sucked last year: Our number one center Elias Pettersson was injured for 30 games
Reason number two: our entire team got COVID
Reason number three: because of COVID our schedule was hell. 19 games in like 30 nights.

Our team has made extreme changes this offseason. I say the Kings can’t all of a sudden become a playoff team because they made 2 additions

The Canuck have finally solidified their top 9 with the additions of Dickinson, a Danault like shutdown center for our third line. We also added Conor Garland who is a solid top six winger to play with Bo Horvat. With the additions of Dickinson and Garland, Bo Horvats line can finally focus on offensive and scoring and let Dickinson handle the defensive responsibilities. We also have an up and coming prospect in Vasili Podkolzin who will fill our third line. We also added Oliver Ekman Larson. If he can return to form in a refreshing new environment, he is a huge upgrade over slow and aging Alex Edler who you added to your defence core. We also added Tucker Poolman who is quite better than Jordie Benn. We also got rid of Holtby who absolutely sucked last year and replaced him with a cheaper steady backup to mentor Demko.

The Vancouver Canucks have made so many changes and upgrades and if you can’t see that, then that’s unfortunate. We finally got rid of Loui Eriksson, Roussel, Beagle, Virtanen, and Holtby who all sucked, and we used that money and made improvements. Obviously our d core is not the greatest but we have a top 10 offensive team right now with our great top 9.

Read my latest comment. The canucks got rid of like half their team this offseason and made many changes to improve.

Alright man. We both have different predictions and that’s okay. You’re a Canucks fan and I’m a Kings fan of course we gonna find reasons on why are teams are better. Thats the entertainment of sports. I still personally believe Kings are a better than Vancouver.

Even if the Canucks aren’t better than the Kings somehow, there is absolutely zero reason the Canucks should finish lower than the Anaheim Ducks. Did they even do anything this offseason? My point is the Canucks have a very likely chance of making the playoffs. If anyone says defence is the reason we can’t make the playoffs, I’ll tell them to look at Edmonton’s defence and goaltending. At least we have a good goalie to bail us out. I’m tired of people sleeping on the Canucks because they looked at one year last year where everyone got COVID and immediately use that to say why the canucks will suck…

Yeah that I agree. No way Anaheim is better than Vancouver. And when I have Kings above Canucks it’s not by 20 points. There will be a 2-8 point difference. And I do believe they make the playoffs as Wild Card. If Blues trade Tarasenko then I don’t think Blue will make the playoffs. I would prolly say Central Division Playoff teams will be Colorado, Winnipeg, Stars, and Blackhawks.

Think Isles jump to 1st but next 3 are in good order. Not sure the metro gets 4 slots this year tho with how deep it is. Could see teams beating up on each other all year and that could allow the leafs or canadiens to take the last spot
