He was straight HORRENDOUS last season.

Forsberg is an unknown commodity, he was ok.

I feel like maybe a move to bolster goaltending would turn this squad into a real playoff Contender.

I don't hate the trade idea tho Max Domi seems like such an odd choice to get back tho,

Ottawa in general is simply ethereal to me.

It seems like they could either be REAL good with solid goaltending... Or just get another Top 5, potentially EVEN a FIRST OVERALL draft pick...

Brannstrom will be on the 2nd pair with Zub for sure. The question will be does Zaitsev or Del Zotto start next to Chabot. The one who doesn’t will be on the 3rd pair rotating between Josh Brown, Mete and Holden.

I think at worst , Ottawa could get 7-8th overall but I can see them just missing the playoffs too and getting 13-15th.

I hope Gus is the backup and Forsberg gets moved or something.

Huge overpayment for Domi imo.

Tierney and Domi are both rentals who had similar seasons last year. And Domi is out for the first 3 months of the season. Ottawa shouldn’t be making this trade straight up.

Maybe it doesn't mean much but Ottawa had very poor start last season. Then they played quite well. Probably won't make the playoffs, but a chance to good to really good in 22/23 for another four years or more.
