Almost no chance Minnesota makes that Detroit trade. If they did offer it, Detroit accepts that immediately.

Let’s offer sheet him at 10.25 so we give up less to get him. I don’t think it will change Vancouver’s ability to match or Petey’s desire to sign.

It’s probably just me, but I don’t think getting Kap a C does anything for him. I’d rather OS Petey, sign cap to his bridge and trade him for futures.

Kap is expendable with Petey on the roster.

I think the duo together would be dirty. And when the buyout penalties come in during years 3 and 4, they trade off some expensive dman and a forward, then insert some prospects like Rossi Boldy etc.
