The Oilers pick in 2022 is likely between 17-32, so Devils would decline.
Also, on a 5-year deal, Bratt should earn between $4.5 million to $5 million.

Devils decline. Bratt is the exact type of player the Devils need to support Hughes and Nico. Kassian has negative value.

Keith still has his no trade clause and picked Edmonton for better or worse he’s oilers property for next two seasons.
I wouldn’t touch that devils trade kass had a down year but is a proven capable option next to mcdavid and I’d keep him if only for the battle of Alberta. Guys like Bratt are a lot more of a dime a dozen types much easier to find than a guy like kass so including a first just seems like a massive overpay.
Mike smith is a huge part of the vocal leadership in the dressing room I don’t expect he will maintain last years performance but even a slight drop won’t hurt the team much if at all.

Haha. I think you got Jesper Bratt and Jesper Boqvist mixed up.
Boqvist has looked dime-a-dozen-ish thus far but still has some potential.
    Jesper Bratt is a stud.

10% chance Keith retires, 5% chance he gets traded, 85% chance we keep him

I don’t mind bratt he’s a decent player but wouldn’t consider a stud. The dime a dozen is comparing his play style being easier to find than kass. Very very few will give kass the credit he’s earned but he has unbelievable skating ability that’s very rare for the type of player he is or can be. I like bratt don’t get me wrong never meant to put him down or anything of that nature. Just don’t see Edmonton moving on from kass yet.
